Sununu Bah is a Seasonal Producer III at NFL Films. At NFL Films, Sununu learned how to turn raw footage into emotional narratives by writing, researching, cutting, and scoring weekly segments for International Week In Review show. He also spent hundreds of hours watching, listening, and logging footage for HBO’s Hard Knocks Training Camp, Hard Knocks In Season, and Netflix’s Quarterback and WWE Unreal. Digging through team meetings, interviews, practices, and wires, Sununu learned to recognize the small, human moments that make a story worth telling.
Prior to NFL Films, Sununu was a Creative Intern for the University of Maryland Office of Marketing and Communications and a Digital News Intern at ABC 7’s affiliate TV station WJLA-TV. He also interned at Special Olympics and Tandem Sports + Entertainment talent agency.
Sununu received his Master of Journalism degree at the Philip Merrill College of Journalism at the University of Maryland, College Park. He also received his bachelor of arts degree in Sociology and English from the University of Maryland.
At the University of Maryland, Sununu was the co-editor-in-chief of the first and only Black newspaper on campus, The Black Explosion. He covered Maryland volleyball and softball for WMUC Sports and track and field recruits for The Left Bench. He also covered arts, culture, sports, and technology for local newspapers, Greenbelt News Review and The Beacon Newspapers.
